Panel upgrades, EV chargers, dead outlets and wiring. The technician diagnoses the issue and explains the recommended scope before approved work begins.
Breakers that keep trippingA breaker doing its job repeatedly is telling you a circuit is overloaded or failing. Resetting it is not a fix.
Warm outlets or burning smellStop using the circuit and call. This is the failure mode that becomes a house fire.
Lights dimming when things startUsually an undersized service or a loose neutral. Both are worth finding before they find you.
No capacity for an EV chargerOlder 100A services are already full. We measure the load and tell you what your panel can actually carry.
Panels
Panel upgrades, labeled and inspection-ready.
A 200A service with room to grow, neat terminations and a legend somebody can actually read. Permit and inspection requirements depend on the job and municipality.
100A to 200A service upgrades
Federal Pacific and Zinsco replacements
Surge protection at the panel
Permit and inspection requirements reviewed for the job
Level 2 charger on a dedicated circuit, outlets that stopped working, a fan that needs a box rated for it, recessed lighting that does not turn the ceiling into swiss cheese.
Requirements vary by municipality and job. The office or technician will confirm what applies before work is approved.
Can my panel handle an EV charger?
We measure the actual load rather than guessing from the sticker, then tell you honestly whether you need an upgrade first.
Do you replace Federal Pacific panels?
Yes. Those and Zinsco panels are a known hazard and a common insurance flag.
Is a flickering light urgent?
If it flickers when a large appliance starts, it is usually a capacity issue. If it flickers randomly, it can be a loose connection, which is worth same-week attention.
